Power Line Noise Filters

Gold Line offers a variety of power line noise filters designed to reduce / eliminate the various types of noise found in automotive and marine installations. See the specification chart below for the filter best suited to your application.

1080 AF60 Alternator filters are specifically designed to reduce the "whine" caused by automotive / marine alternators. They are electromagnetic filters utilizing inductive and capacitve elements which provide a broad frequency range of filtering. They can also be used on generators in older vehicles. Models 1080 & AF100 shown.

1090N Inline filters are general purpose filters installed in the voltage supply lead of heater motors, air conditioners, electric fuel pumps, power window motors and other accessories which can create noise. Model 1090N/P shown.

EF10 Electronic powerline filters are broadband filters utilizing a specialized transistor circuit designed to greatly reduce noise at virtually all frequencies. They are installed in the voltage supply lead close to the equipment affected by interference. Model EF10 shown.

1044 Specialized alternator filter for vehicles where the voltage regulator is separate from the alternator. This is usually an older vehicle without an integrated ignition system. Model 1044 shown.

1045 Our Original generator filter for older vehicles where the generator and voltage regulator are separate. Not used on vehicles equipped with an alternator system. Model 1045 shown.
