Down Load Updater Upd685r here. 5.4mb. Posted 7/23/2007. How To Install the Module Updater Download the file to a folder (such as My Documents) of your choice. Do not download to your desktop. This is a self extracting file. Go to START, Click [START], Click [RUN] Browse to the folder for the file. Double click on it.

Windows 95 Patch Description

.Allows Windows 95.950 systems to use the new core updates;

.Not needed for Windows 95.950b (OSR2) but you can run it if you want.
It will only patch what's necessary.

Download the file to a folder of your choice.
UnZip the file in that folder.
Go to START, Click [START], Click [RUN]
Browse to the folder for the extracted files.
Double click on SETUP.EXE.
Click [OK] and follow screen instructions.
Do not alter the installation path when given the choice.
To perform properly, all TEF modules and the Core should be installed to the same e.g. (C:\Program Files\Gold Line\TEF) folder.

Windows 00, XP
Extract the updated driver files to a folder of your choice.
Plug in your TEF USB Preamp.
Go to START, Click [START], Click [RUN]
Type DEVMGMT.MSC in the window and Click [OK]. This opens the Device Manager.
Find the entry for the "TEF USB PreAmp". It is usually located in the Universal Serial Bus Controllers category.
Right Click on it and select [UPDATE DRIVER].
When the driver wizard appears, make the following selections:
[NO, NOT THIS TIME], Click [NEXT].
[INSTALL FROM A LIST OR SPECIFIC LOCATION], Click [NEXT].
Browse to the folder that you had previously extracted the files to.
Click [OK], Click [NEXT].
Click [CONTINUE ANYWAY].
The new driver files will be installed.

Windows 95, 98 (WIN95 USERS NEED THE WINDOWS 95 PATCH)
Extract the updated driver files to a folder of your choice.
Plug in your TEF USB Preamp.
On your desktop, Right Click on [MY COMPUTER].
Select [PROPERTIES] and Click on the [DEVICE MANAGER] tab.
Find the entry for the "TEF USB PreAmp". It is usually located in the Universal Serial Bus Controllers category.
Highlight it then Click the [PROPERTIES] button.
Click on the [DRIVER] tab and then Click on the [UPDATE DRIVER] button.
When the driver wizard appears, make the following selections:
[NEXT], "Display a list of all the drivers in a specific location", [NEXT].
Click [HAVE DISK], Click [BROWSE].
Browse to the folder that you had previously extracted the files to.
Click [OK], Click [NEXT].
The new driver files will be installed.
